XS and Quixtar Affirm Their Commitment in North America
XS will remain exclusive to Quixtar and Quixtar IBOs.
XS™ Energy Drinks, Quixtar and Quixtar Independent Business Owners continue to set sales records in their exclusive partnership. Both companies remain firmly committed to their marketing and distribution plans, keeping XS Energy Drinks exclusive to Quixtar and their Independent Business Owners.
"We are extremely proud and excited to be exclusive distribution partners with Quixtar in North America for XS Energy Drinks, and we don't plan to change that," says David Vanderveen, XS spokesperson. "Our commitment to this partnership means we will not be supplying an energy drink to any other MLM company.
"In fact, AdWeek just ran a cover story last week* on XS's radical breakthroughs with Quixtar IBOs. It was a lot of fun to shake up the strategic creative thinkers at an advertising agency conference by telling them that we focused on generating bonuses for IBOs rather than on media ads. We remain committed to supporting Quixtar and IBOs in developing their businesses."
Over the past 52-week period, XS has sold more than 6.5 million cases of energy drinks in the USA and Canada. Launched in 2002, XS continues to enjoy radical growth with the most current 52-week sales volume up 15 percent in the USA (a much larger and mature market) and over 76 percent in Canada (a younger and accelerating market).
"XS has been a core brand that we promote to the best of our ability alongside our other exclusive brands like NUTRILITE® and ARTISTRY®," says Jim Payne, Managing Director for Quixtar. "XS has been and will continue to be an important offering to IBOs and a key component for growth. We have no plans to alter this successful partnership."
"We move more than 200,000 cans of energy drinks per day which generates more than $134,000 a day or $49 million a year in bonuses to IBOs from the success of our exclusive agreement with XS" says Payne. "We don't plan to change that - in fact, we plan to launch a new flavor of XS Energy Drink this fall."
XS drinks. Fake sugar, most with caffeine?
Well, until they change that, it won't mater to me.

Interesting - XS is not mentioned in the new (9/1/2007) version of the "Quixtar (Amway) Business Opportunity" brochure. Looks like Quixtar is distancing themselves?

[Moderator's Note: The only reason we're publishing this message for which there is no author (or verifiable email address) is that this is a common misperception, so we'd like to correct it. Frankly, some on the Board reached the same conclusion initially, but the Company explained, and we confirmed, that XS' owners and Quixtar were still discussing the details of their future plans at the time the new brochure came out, and the Company didn't want to include any product in the brochure of which they weren't absolutely certain at that moment. Subsequent to the publication going to print, they reached the conclusions reported in the press release we published here yesterday.]

Hi Utah,
Ok, so you don't prefer a drink unless it is made with "real" sugar, no problem - there are other drinks available through Quixtar that you can try.
Personally, I enjoy the XS energy drinks, and like the fact that they are the healthiest on the market with some excellent nutrients and also that they are sugar free.
Regarding your comment that most have caffeine, I always thought it was great to have a choice of caffeine or caffeine-free.
If you were trying to say you wanted more caffeine-free XS energy drinks, then I agree! Have you called or written Quixtar asking for more caffeine-free options?
While I prefer to drink the XS energy drinks with caffeine, I do have some IBOs and customers who prefer caffeine-free. I'm glad there is a choice.
If you haven't tryed them, here are a few other drinks available through Quixtar:
XS Sports drinks (2 have sugar), ZSENSO Iced Teas (2 have sugar), another option is Sismic super juices.
Enjoy!

Utah - i agree. I don't drink XS.
I do believe it is the #1 product (that or double x) that Quixtar has b/c it RELATES to young people and athletes, etc....
It takes amazing and Quixtar and LogicNutrition are I am sure grateful for their partnership.
I just wish Quixtar had an alternative for those health nuts like me! (Really a Health Crusader and Kick butt Athlete :))
I refuse to allow man-made dead "food" to be put in my body, Gods Temple.
solutions?
1. Keep xs and all their products - they taste great and help ibos retail and sponsor
2. ADD more alternatives so that Quixtar/IBOAI do not BLOCK out up to 10% of a fasting growing market. Healthy minded people are no longer only hippies... the are also conservatives.
ex? Green Drinks - 1 of the 3 double tablets is a "super food" - Q could make a powder... ask and i can give you 5 websites/examples. You can sell this for $50 per month.
ex? Food bars - like "diamond organic bar" or many of the others... one made out of FOOD, not fake food and artificial sweeteners
But KEEP all XS and make it the Primary promoted product! YOu don't catch fish with the bate you like... we catch the fish with the food THEY like!

That was until this up roar...nobody can predict the amount of volume that will be lost but I am sure it is a safe assumtion that this August PV will not compare to last August PV and same with next Month as well.

Hi Chris,
Regarding your comment “That was until this up roar...nobody can predict the amount of volume that will be lost but I am sure it is a safe assumtion that this August PV will not compare to last August PV and same with next Month as well.”
While I can understand your concern (I assume that you are referring to the IBO leaders that were terminated), I can't say I agree with your assertion.
We're still sponsoring, servicing customers, ordering product, etc... it looks like it's "Business As Usual". We’re all still building our businesses and ordering XS and lots of other products ... as usual.
Everyone in my organization, while concerned, realize that life goes on and really what we need to do is stay focused on our business, and not get into speculating over what it means every time something happens or someone makes a statement.
I have complete confidence in Alticor, Quixtar, Amway, the IBOAI and my upline leadership to do the right thing.
While we can't control what someone else does or say (nor should we attempt to), we do have control over how we choose to respond to it and what we do.
I choose to believe that my business, all our businesses will be stronger because of it - we will be more committed to doing the right thing and not the convenient thing at the time. We will get back to the basics that make this business grow. Building strong organizations based on the founding principles that make our businesses thrive.
Chris, talk with your sponsor and upline leaders, get busy making August and September YOUR best months ever and you will see a bright new future for yourself!
Wishing you the best!
Sincerely,
Ros

[Moderator Postscript: We just got this statement in from Quixtar: "Quixtar's Rules department is aware of these sites and is taking the appropriate action. If you find sites selling Quixtar's products, they are doing so against our rules and you should report them to abuse@quixtar.com." ]
