Congrats to the Corp for bringing in Joe Pici for his insightful session on selling skills and building rapport, and to Joe for intentionally challenging some of the conventional assumptions that are often taught around this business.
Before hearing Joe, I admit that Ribbon wasn't an area I was especially interested in. Now I see it as a great "ice-breaker" product which new people will perceive as a "less threatening" sell, and requiring very little specialized knowledge to work with.
The Nutrilite demo booth with Michael Chan, Bill Dombrowski and Dr. Duke Johnson for me was the highlight of the product showcases.
KEY POINT from Dr. Duke -- most store-bought multi's containing just the basic RDI's for essential vitamins/minerals will cover avoiding one of the nutrient deficiency diseases (ricketts, etc.) which were more prevalent before the mid-1940's, if that's one's only consideration.
HOWEVER, the "prevention space" we are working in -- PERSONALIZED HEALTH -- is the prevention or delay or amelioration of the chronic health conditions of ageing. That's where our on-the-cutting-edge blend of organic, plant-based vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients/phytochemicals puts us at the head of the class.
And thanks to Melissa Timmer from the IBOAI office who was "gracious hospitality" exemplified in the way she welcomed people at the IBOAI booth/table at the show.
Portland was well worth the 6 hour drive each way, if only for the tips I picked up from Joe Pici and Dr. Duke Johnson.
Thank you again, Amway Global!!! :)
PS. and Susan Julien-Willson was marvelous at the Easter Seals booth... although I don't know what she managed to do with my Canadian currency... I'm sure it "exchanged" to the benefit of Easter Seals :)

I got some of Joe Pici's training material from our Q12 Platinum and it was definitely an incredible help. His insightful, customer based sales material is an awesome selling tool. But, it can also cross over into showing the plan and sponsoring new IBO's!
