Every day, IBOs do positive things in their lives, and we will be highlighting some of them in a new section on our IBOAI website called "IBOs in Action." First up is the story of Cale Andrews, who when given the choice between attending Achievers 08 and running in the Las Vegas Marathon ... chose both! Read how Cale Andrews maximizes his healthy lifestyle and his Amway Global business, then come back and discuss it.
Discussion Starters
-
How are you able to combine your IBO and leisure activities?
-
What fun activity would it be difficult to do without your IBO business?
We have always tried to integrate family with business. This is a business where you are in control so you can have more time with family and enjoy building additional income.
That's what makes an Amway Global Business unique.
We have taken our kids see one of their favorite bands during spring break because the group happened to be performing in the city that we were traveling to for business. To continue the fun instead of staying in a regular hotel we booked into one with an indoor water park!

We have fun when we travel to another city for our business. We'll usually try to do some kind of fun activity that's nearby. When we go to L.A., it's usually also to Disneyland, or California Adventure park!

Disneyland sounds like a great stop over! The other great thing about mixing leisure time with business is that it opens the door to meeting new people. Don't you find that when you're at places like these you can't help but meet someone. Especially if you are in a lineup. People just start chatting. They see you drinking a Perfect Water or giving your kids Nutrilite bars or wiping a spill with an L.O.C. wipe and you have a great conversation starter. We are walking advertisements. What an advantage we have over other businesses by having such a vast assortment of products and services to offer through the Amway Global business.

That's true Amy, people are much more open to talking to someone they don't know at a vacation destination. It's a lot of fun meeting people from all over the country!

How awesome! I didn't realize that cale ran the vegas marathon too! I ran the half marathon in vegas the same weekend and then spent the next 4 days at acheivers! it was a great way to motivate myself to work out and combine my passion for health with the Rewards of our business.
Also, i am a team captain for the Easter Seals, Walk with Me in Las Vegas Nevada this saturday, March 28th. I am so excited to get friends and family out to support a great cause.
Lastly, thank you so much to everyone on staff at IBOAI. My husband and I had a great time at the G2/G3 event for the 50th year celebration!!! You guys are the best. Thanks again!
